Why will the FreightWare main menu not load or function properly?

Article ID: 56

Beginning on August 15, 2012, Microsoft began distributing a Windows Update that would cause the control used for the FreightWare main menu to no longer function. The behavior exhibited after this update has been applied varies:

  • Behavior # 1: After entering the user name and password on the login screen and clicking on the OK button, the login screen does not go away and the main menu does not load.
  • Behavior # 2: After logging in, the main menu will load and appear but clicking on any menu item will not load the screen associated with that menu item.
