Why do I get the message "The OpenForm action was cancelled when trying to access Imaging in FreightWare?

The FreightWare Imaging components have not been installed. Follow the steps below to install the full suite of FreightWare Imaging components. This procedure must be run on each workstation that will be using Freight.Ware Imaging. Please make sure FreightWare is closed before performing these steps.

  1. Download the Freight.Ware Imaging components from the Freight.Ware web site.
  2. Extract the ZIP file that was downloaded in Step #1 (FWImaging.zip) to a temporary folder.
  3. Run the Imaging Professional OCX Installation. From the folder created in Step #2, open the OCXs Only folder and run setup.exe. During the installation, you may receive a prompt that reads "Installation Failed". The prompt may appear to disappear but it is actually behind the main installation screen. Minimize the installation screen to access the prompt and click the OK button. Restore the installation screen to continue the installation.
  4. Run the FreightWare Imaging Component Installation. From the folder created in Step #2 run imaging.exe.
  5. Run the FreightWare Image Client Workstation Installation. From the folder created in Step #2 run imagingsetup.exe.
  6. Run the FreightWare Image Client Workstation Setup. From the folder created in Step #2 run imageclient.exe.
  7. Run the batch file to register the Imaging OCX files. From the folder created in Step #2 run RegisterImaging.bat.
