Expiring Rates

Generally you will have 3 options when rates reach their expiration date.

  • Do nothing.  This rate sheet or rate base is no longer used.
  • Extend the expiration date.  If the rates are not changing, replace the expiration date with a future date.
  • Enter new rates.  enter a new set of rates that are effective the day after the expiration of the current rates and a future expiration date.

From the main menu, select Rating Setup > Rate Tables

Use the (1) left / right navigation buttons to view each of the rate tables and check the (2) Expire date.
If you are NOT changing the Min/Max or the rates, simply edit the (2) Expire date field to extend the date.
To change the Min/Max and/or rates, click the New Record button (3) and fill in the fields for a new rate table.

NOTE: Be sure the Effective date (4) is the next day after your previous Expire date (2).  Skipping days or overlapping dates will yield incorrect results.
